Hanuman Ji Puja Vidhi

The worship of Hanuman Ji is considered most effective when performed at home with purity, simplicity, and complete devotion.

Preparation

  • Wake up early in the morning (especially on Tuesday or Saturday)

  • Take a bath and wear clean/new clothes (red or orange colors are considered auspicious)

  • Clean the place of worship

  • Place the idol or image of Hanuman Ji facing the east direction

Puja Materials

  • Sindoor (vermilion)

  • Jasmine oil

  • Red flowers

  • Incense sticks

  • Lamp (oil or ghee diya)

  • Betel leaves

  • Jaggery and roasted gram

  • Banana or other fruits

  • Tulsi leaves (optional)

  • Hanuman Chalisa book

Sankalp (Intention)

    Sit in front of the idol and take a sacred intention

    Close your eyes

  3. 3

    Pray sincerely for strength, courage, and protection

Invocation

    Light the lamp and incense sticks and chant the mantra

    Om Shri Hanumate Namah

Puja Procedure

    Offer sindoor mixed with jasmine oil to Hanuman Ji

    Offer red flowers and garlands

    Offer jaggery and roasted gram

  4. 4

    Offer fruits and betel leaves

Offering sindoor is considered highly important, as it is believed to please Hanuman Ji quickly.

Mantra Chanting and Recitation

Aarti

    Ring a bell during the aarti

Prasad Distribution

    First offer the prasad to Hanuman Ji

    Then distribute it among family members
