The worship of Ram Lalla is the devotion to the child form of Lord Shri Ram. This puja emphasizes parental affection, love, simplicity, and sincere devotion. Preparation

  • Take a bath in the morning and wear clean, sattvic clothing

  • Keep the worship area clean and fragrant

  • Place an idol or picture of Ram Lalla on a clean altar

  • Spread a yellow or red cloth on the altar

  • Sit facing east or north

  • Maintain feelings of love and parental affection toward Child Ram

Required Materials

  • Idol or picture of Ram Lalla

  • Yellow or red cloth

  • Sandalwood paste

  • Akshata (unbroken rice grains)

  • Yellow or white flowers

  • Tulsi leaves

  • Ghee lamp

  • Incense sticks

  • Camphor

  • Fruits

  • Rock sugar, butter, or kheer

  • Milk

  • A vessel filled with water

  • Small clothes or a crown for the child form (optional)

  • Prayer beads for mantra chanting

Sankalpa (Sacred Resolution)

  • Take water in your hand and make a sacred resolution for the puja

  • Pray for the grace of Ram Lalla, family prosperity, and spiritual growth

  • Resolve to complete the worship with love and devotion

Meditation

  • Close your eyes and meditate on the divine child form of Ram Lalla

  • Visualize Him as a smiling child seated in your heart

  • Remember His compassion, simplicity, and divine radiance

Invocation

  • Invite Ram Lalla to accept your worship

  • Offer flowers and akshata

  • Chant 'Om Shri Ram Lallaya Namah' 11 or 21 times

Abhishek and Bathing

  • If using an idol, perform a symbolic bath with clean water

  • Offer milk or Panchamrit if desired

  • Wipe the idol with a clean cloth and place it back on the altar

Clothing and Adornment

  • Offer clean clothes to Ram Lalla

  • Apply a sandalwood tilak

Incense and Lamp

  • Light a ghee lamp

  • Prepare for aarti with camphor

Mantra Chanting

  • Chant 'Om Shri Ram Lallaya Namah' 11, 21, or 108 times

  • Chant 'Shri Ram Jai Ram Jai Jai Ram'

  • If possible, perform Ram Naam Sankirtan

Aarti

  • Perform the aarti of Ram Lalla with devotion and parental affection

  • Move the lamp gently in circular motions

  • Sing the glories of Lord Ram during the aarti

Pradakshina (Circumambulation)

  • Circumambulate the worship area 1 or 3 times

  • Express gratitude to Ram Lalla

Pranam (Offering Respect)

Prasad Distribution

  • Distribute butter with rock sugar, kheer, or other prasad among family members
