Preparation
Wake up early in the morning, preferably during Brahma Muhurta
Take a bath and wear clean, light-colored clothes (white, yellow or saffron)
Clean the puja place thoroughly
Place the idol or picture of Mata Sita Ji (with Lord Rama if possible) on a clean altar
Decorate the altar with flowers, mango leaves, and rangoli
Keep the idol facing east or north direction
